So, who’s it going to be?

This is an open invitation to anyone in Looperland to share your opinions on the Heisman race. As I see it, the best choices are as follows (in no particular order):

Colt Brennan

Pat White

Tim Tebow

Chase Daniel

Darren McFadden

So, who’s it gonna be?

  1. Daniel went 40-49 passing against the nations #2 defense. So yeah, I’ gonna have to say that Chase is a lock for the Davey O’Brien Award.

  2. Without a doubt it is Tim Tebow.

The only negative working against the guy is that he is a sophomore but just soak this in for a second: 217 for 317 for a 66.7 completion percentage; 29 touchdowns compared to 6 interceptions and that is through the air.

On the ground is where Tebow did so much damage. He was the Gators top leading rusher and top passer, who has ever been able to say that? He rushed 194 times for 838 yards and 22 touchdowns and never fumbled it once.

THE GUY ACCOUNTED FOR 51 TOUCHDOWNS and you want to tell me someone else can boast anything to take the Heisman away from him. Fat chance.

  3. I go with McFadden, the most versatile player… My order is posted on my blog: http://wdennisgriffith.wordpress.com/2007/11/28/the-winner-is%e2%80%a6-my-heisman-selection/
